Thats sucks bigtime. I agree these are some sad times and there are some messed up people out there. Even the best locks are useless if you have the right tools and a few seconds of time alone with them. I always carried all my crap with me in school. It builds muscle... Its still sad though..

The first gasket was an oem type but the ring was not seated right on the compression (fire) ring of the gasket... The second was a full metal gasket, not copper and i'm not positive it was steel either???.. I will ask him again. I think it was softer than steel? I agree 100% with you on...

His was leaking coolant both times, first on a stock hg and now on steel gasket? He is a machinist and he said it was done right (the stainless ring install)...LOL, but i have no idea??, I will mention your "copper rings" to him though. :)

My friend did this to his 86 shelby charger, It is supposed to be bullet proof if you can get it to seal??. He just told me the other day it's leaking again so I am not impressed with it at all. 3rd time may be the charm with a custom copper HG... :dunno:
