Yes, I agree, It was just what the text said at the start. On the last race the RX7 guy said "it was built from spare parts" so i figured they cranked it up too.. I would have lol...
I am not that electrically gifted so I will let one of the other guys help you with that.. I know there is a knock sensor re-wire fix out there but that is all I have is the link here in the engine electrical section...
I would start with code 51. (TPS) Most likely it just needs to be loosened and adjusted. Page FI-101 and FI-103

I had to pull my sending unit out of the tank and clean the contacts off for mine to work properly. It had a coat of "varnish" film from old fuel. This is a great time to check the low fuel warning light switch because it is also in the sending unit. It is accessible without pulling the tank...
I think it is not so much stupidity as it is a lack of pride and or respect. People are just lazy when it comes to forums and chatting.
Here are some links for those who wish to try and improve their efforts. :)

Silvergsx: That link a better route. That, or go to a junk yard and get the stock fuel line that you need. My post was more of a temporary fix..
(which I forgot to mention)
Yikes, fuel pressure is alot greater on injection cars than on carbed rigs. In this case I would use 2 clamps on each end..(4 total) But thats just me, I dont like fire...
You taped up a hose you cut in half and it leaked? No way!!! hahahha
Just get a small 3" chunk of 3/8ths tubing and slip it halfway in to each end and clamp it.. I am guessing this is not a fuel injected car?
You need to borrow a timing light from someone and set it to 10 degrees with the jumper installed as per the hood sticker.. Also, all you need to check codes is a paper clip, Directions are on the hood sticker..:) Start there...
Most likely it is just the valve cover gaskets leaking oil down around the plugs. When you remove the plugs it will drain down onto the pistons.
Unless the car was heavily smoking before you noticed the oil, I think you will be ok once you replace the valve cover gaskets. :)
I guess i'm in the same boat. I believe in spiritual god but not organized religion. I have a bi-polar grandmother that looses her grip on reality every 6 months or so i know how you feel.. It's better now that we know why and can try and keep her on the meds...
Hope she gets better bud...
