No it should not..It will only display a code 51 when the jumper is connected in diag mode with the ac on, the car is out of park, or when the gas pedal is depressed. If code 51 is there without the gas being depressed, ac off , and in park, then the TPS needs to be adjusted. No check engine...

Cool, So in my case where the spike seems to be dependant on cold days, this is most likely just because I am packing much more colder air into the combustion camber and making more power than normal, which is spinning the turbo even faster causing boost spike. Does that make sense...

So the example of William's flange, (In theory), That should prevent spike and increase creep with an upgraded turbo. I like this place...I learn something every day..:)

I only have it when it is really cold outside, 30 degrees or colder. Mine all started when the 3" turbo back was installed.

Turbo death squeal? or like Aye mate said, boost leak and it is over spinning it.. It is hard to tell from that vid though..

I might disagree here a bit, I agree a DDP will cause creep, Or even a DP with an integrated 90 elbow, but I think it is doing it by letting too much exhaust gasses go through the waist gate swing valve too fast and the excess air is forcing the swing valve open some causing creep. Look at...
