Im looking into swapping a auto into my 87 Supra turbo. I was really interested in doing the adapter plate so I can run a powerglide that I have. But the adapters are stupid high so I was wondering how hard would be to swap in a factory auto. any help or advise would be appreciated. Thanks
After 2+ years of working on this car a weekend at a time I finally have it all one color lol. The paint is PPG and was a custom mix my father n law come up with. As soon as I get it back together I will get some better pics in the sun.
Good luck mine were a bitch to take off, the windshield was the only trim I could save. But I went and bought all new, they are getting hard to come by, a few pieces are already discontinued.
Thanks for the input guys. I just need to look into the alignment specs as soon as I get these on. Its mainly going to be a track whore but I drive it occasionally.
If this is a continuation from the other thread, stock is stock. Un altered non upgraded. As for having a upgraded CT26 your car does great, but far from "stock". Now if you want to swap on a stock CT and run for the fastest stock 7MGTE with a non upgraded CT without nitrous that would interesting.
