thinking of goin t4 setup now. Blew the dm 57trim.......

I understand what you're saying about not knocking down something you have zero experience with. It's more of a personal preference of mine to not gamble with a turbo that may or may not flow anywhere near as advertised on top of quality/durability guessing. Being the guinea pig with an engine...

Where to weld in oil drain bung

How about you weld an aluminum bung to your aluminum oil pan or drill and use a bulk head fitting?

Im getting like 11 mpg, and im not even boosting much.

I'm saying if you removed your CPS and then tried to bring the crank pulley mark to 0*, you have a 50% chance your CPS is 180* out of phase with your cams. Your engine will still run due to the waste spark of the coilpacks firing 1&6, 2&5, and 3&4.

Im getting like 11 mpg, and im not even boosting much.

I've noticed you can run into being only capable of +5 or +15 degrees when your cams are 180* out of phase. Make sure you remove the timing cover to verify the cam notches are aligned with the back cover since the cams rotate one revolution per two revolutions of the crankshaft. EDIT: I get...

    7m+t76

Unless you're going to run super low boost (tons of lag for minimal power i.e. terrible turbo choice), your engine will not last long due to lack of stronger forged internals, lack of supporting fuel mods, and lack of a proper stand-alone ECU. Anything above 400rwhp and you need a stand-alone.

    how many are in co

It moved to somewhere around Parker which is too far for me. You can read about it on coloradoracing.net I'm assuming you mean the whole shebang with decking the block & head etc.? I honestly don't trust a single shop in this state and have my primary built engine in pieces (currently have...

thinking of goin t4 setup now. Blew the dm 57trim.......

Keep your eyes peeled in the f/s forum and on ebay. It may take a while but you'll eventually catch some nice parts. About 2-3 years ago, I scored a HKS cast iron long runner T4 manifold on ebay for super cheap after it sat on supramania for months at $550+.

You really should just save up for quality parts the first time around. Nothing in the "kit" even whispers quality. Even the exhaust manifold is just SS-304, shoot for a SS-321 at least.

Tookwik's 7M-GTE COP ignition mod w/ stock electronics...pics and writeup

I think I extended the 1-6 about 10" and the 3-4 about 8". I can't remember since it's been about 8 months since extended the stock harness. The plug/COP location doesn't matter since it's a waste-spark system as long as plugs/cylinders etc 1&6, 2&5, and 3&4 share the same harness plug from the...

The coilpack harness plugs are the same (IS300 and 7M).

    Clutch Bleeding Problem

It's the black sheet metal with two bolts in the first picture you posted. Remove it and take a look at your slave when installed and pumping.

ffim 7m or JZ intercooler mounting pics plz

No pics either but I cut mine out below the first horn and mounted my intercooler to what was left of the bracket. Pretty much, the support bracket only connects the nose panel to the top of the radiator ect. so I could also mount my 11x10" oil cooler behind my intercooler. I also found another...

How bad are my cylinder walls?

I believe they were reboxed NDC's at some point. The King's I have are already scored thanks to what I believe was a "builder" who never sent my crank for a polish and machining...possibly even had dirty hands when applying redline assembly lube. I can't believe every bearing looks like this. Or...

Know of any good machine shops? I want to avoid "performance shops" and just have a machinist do what I tell them.

    knock sensors

I would not recommend pulling fuel to fight your ECU but rather just replace the sensor asap to clear the code 51.
