hell considering the fact that there are NO OTHER DIECASTS ANYWHERE lol...at least that i know of...i think they are pretty sweet...when i get some extra cash ill probably order one or two up and mock it up to look just like my car :D
good find!
A friend called and told me to get online quick and to go to supramania. All the threads and posts have been wiped out (or so it seems) and we're not sure why the attack happened. The hacker goes by the name of Phantom. Not sure if Supramania was a predetermined target or if they were just the...
actually ive been meaning to do my buddies car rewire...and take pics of each step...if you wouldnt mind take each step i wrote down and taking a pic of it...from tool gathering to what the combination fuse looks like (a lot of people ask me that) to each step and finding the relay etc... and...
for the record...i dont care what ANYONE says...a one piece shaft isnt THAT much better then a stock two piece etc...the reason people THINK that it is...is because the bearing is so worn out in the old two piece so it makes THAT much of a difference.
anyways as for you play in the bearing...
COMPLETELY depends on what you are using to lube the threads... oil or moly lube... big difference in torque specs...
also by standard main bolts im assuming you mean the main bolts for the main caps? (seems like a stupid question but i want to clear it up as to not give you false information.)
as said on SF...nice vid...good runs by both you..and get your boost issue figured out so you can up the boost on that beast of a turbo... that thing is still sleeping at 12psi! :D
me? nah... ;) well technically that last post was the first true post whore post hooray for me! the res twere actually informative and/or on topic ;)
so now this makes two... look what your doing to me dz! :D
oh ok yeah...i shimmed the same one and didnt come back with anywhere near 80psi pressure...but youre also using the NA block etc so that will most likely do it...
and its always good to agree to disagree....im sure you know of a bunch of people who would agree with you as well do i.... just...
I took the SOGI rewire and changed it a bit to add more lighting options...

yeah i posted that about "blowing seals" and as soon as i got done i was like oh bad wording oh well... lol...
basically what i was trying to say is that with an engine that is so close for oil specs as is...that much pressure could possibly be TOO much...HOWEVER...i see you said you built it...
a rare one not many people know about... and ive found quite a few good deals on here just gotta keep an eye out... i got a fluidyne brand new to my door for 400 bucks about two years ago... and a couple of other things..

id listen to squid on this....the "gear" would be inside the black plastic electronics box...the "glue" you are talking about might be someones way of siliconing it shut or something...
if you happen to break your afm in this process...let me know as i have an extra one lying around ;)
wow...you WILL be blowing oil through seals with upwards of that pressure...especially in the higher RPM range... just be careful...
rule of thumb is basically gonna be around 8-10psi per 1k rpm. thats about the best you can get it.
STOCK per TSRM says idle pressure should be 4.3 PSI...
you are one crazy bastard...how do you even come up with half this stuff? lol..
you just have a bunch of leftover parts lying around and are finding ways to make them work arent you ;)
once again nice job allan...have you gotten it on the car and messed with it at all yet? let me know what...
