i disagree... a bad turbo will blow smoke on acceleration and under boost IMO...
when theres vacuum the valve stem seals will produce the smoke...and theres vacuum between shifts and idling...
its the tranny... the wg actuator was changed by year not by transmission type...and even still they only got an extra lke .3 psi out of the wg flapper door change... not even worth mentioning...

as for valve stem seals...usually if you are driving and when you push in the clutch it smokes..meaning between shifts...or when you get on it and then letoff and push in the clutch and it...
haha yeah... i remember pulling the shit out of an orange mustang GT with intake exhaust and a few other things...while all i had was an intake and exhaust myself..stock turbo etc...

ok yeah...so he got great returns from the aftermarket cams.... but you wont see ANYTHING like that by simply putting in an intake cam from a NA... no way no how ;)
basically exactly what you said mark...it will pick and choose to solidify in areas of the cooling system and clog them up... a friend had chunks of it in his water jackets in the block.... i personally didnt investigate where it happened with me as i was too ipssed so i just fixed it and let it...
