    Water Temperature Sender Accuracy?

whatever is not touching water should be touching metal, and technically the metal around the water should be the same temp as the water

getting it started after head job.

i bet its your timing. After doing my head i found no marks to line up on the distributor like the manual said, so i had to trial and error. Easiest thing to do is leave the dist bolt loose and while its running move it to either side and see if it gets better. If it gets better in one...

    Water Temperature Sender Accuracy?

Pretty normal. Mine does the same thing. If you drive it longer/harder the temp will go higher, but i have noticed for the majority of short trips and non highway use my temp doesnt really get above 175~180 until i get on the highway.

    Brake Lines

They make brake lines with titanium fittings, maybe thats what he meant. It is still stupid for this application though.

    vacuum leak.. from the dipstick?

Nope, its a simple system, but if one of those hoses are clogged or the port in the throttle body is clogged, its like having no PCV system, and any pressure, even small amounts would need somewhere to go, ie, dipstick.

    slight hissing

Now that you bring this up, it brings me to a problem i have. I dont mean to hijack but it seems similar. Whenever the heater control is set to anything other than 65 degrees, the sound goes away. It more of a crackle/hissing sound that comes directly from the heater control valve. It only makes...

    Megan Adjustability

you can simply spin down the spring perches, but as stated when you raise the car up off the ground you are going to have no preload and your spring may unseat itself and not go back properly when you lower the car back down. If you really want to get into it, i had a look into the tube itself...

    Suspension noise

there is a little indent in the rear of the lower control arm, and a little nub on the rear of the knuckle. When turned lock, the nub contacts the indent on the control arm, and there is a plastic cap that goes over nub to stop bad noises. Also, check the tightness of your swaybar endlinks, if...

    Car Jerks while running!!!!!!!

i would check your engine/tranny / diff mounts and driveshaft before anything else. If these things are cocked at a bad angle when no power is being inputted the u joints might be try to turn at an angle they cannot turn at, which would cause all kinds of weird jerking and or vibrations.

Tranny questions while I break from pulling driveshaft

About the leak, you may want to make sure it is trans fluid and that it is coming from where you think it is. Often times engine oil or something else will leak and thinly sheet over the tranny and start a drip somewhere on the bottom of the trans making it seem like the trans is leaking.

    front cover and timing belt

theres only one stud, and its the one in the center. There are 2 long black bolts for the top two holes that screw into the timing cover. The other 2 or 3 are pretty normal looking bolts with a 10 mm head
