I am not happy with my prosport oil pressure gauge at all. Ive had nothing but problems with it and ive just sort of given up. I think the heat from the exhaust manifold (even with the heat protecting cover over the sending unit) messes up the sending unit. If you get one of their gauges i would...
I would go with Mechanical. They are more accurate and less prone to failure. The only danger with this is that you are running live hot oil into the cabin for the gauge, and in the event of an accident, if that line was broken, you could end up with a face full of hot oil.:icon_mad:
If you...
I would not reccomend replacing every seal in the system, if it were me, i would buy an AC o ring kit (you can get them at most automotive parts stores) and just replace every seal you can easily get to. It isnt perfect, but youre reducing the chances for your leaks and you are not having to...
The little metal dome you see SHOULD have a wire coming off of the top post for input to the ecu. Without that, its useless. There are a couple other ports you can use for an after market gauge, or you can use the spot of the stock sender. Just remember you need a 1/8 male bpt to 1/8 female npt...
Thats very silly... I dont have an answer to your question, but you are going to tear through the inside edge of your tires very quickly if you do the negative camber just for "the look":aigo:
BTW why would you remove the strut rods? They have nothing to do with camber... And i believe they...
Thanks guys. I will check my dashpots adjustment according to the TSRM and pinch off the large brake booster vacuum line to see if it makes any difference.
I have looked in the TSRM, and the only thing it mentions about the fluid coupling fan clutch is that it should not have any signs of leaking. Now, i don't see any signs of leaking on mine, but is there a way to functionally test the fan clutch? I am going to be moving to an area with very warm...
thought i was going to read about internal engine parts scattered on the ground! Good news it was only the fan. Any idea what the cause of that was? Was the shroud cracked or broken before?
I'm having trouble with my idle. Every time i drop the car to neutral or press the clutch and let the engine idle from driving, the idle will be about 1100 rpm. If i sit and wait about 10-15 seconds it slowly returns to normal 800 rpm idle, but as soon as i drive a little bit and do it again...
Biggest problem i have with R134a is the molecules are smaller than r12, or the envirosafe refrigerant that i posted, so if you have a weak point in your system, its more likely to leak 134 than a different refrigerant.
This is a whole other ballpark, but if you are interested in some alternatives, this Envirosafe refrigerant is a great choice. It is a hydrocarbon based refrigerant. Its very cheap, and as long as you fix the leaks in your system, you can easily do it yourself at home for very cheap. I used this...
Same issue on my NA distributor, no mark on the gears like they say. I used the hole as a line up and it was totally off. I had to guess and check until i got it right.
54 ft/lbs for drive shaft to differential
51 ft lbs for axle to differential
For the future, use this, it has all you need.

youve gotta undo the hose and get a socket to fit the union bolt and snug it down. If you have a leak from the egr cooler you should be burning coolant as theres a direct hole that goes to the intake. Tightening the egr cover bolts will do nothing, as thats not meant to seal coolant, and there...
no reason to do anything other than mt 90 unless youve got some kind of high hp or specialty something that requires otherwise. Shifts nice and has a lot of support from other people
sounds like the sliding/pivoting mechanical joints in the starter could be sticking. As long as the starter drive pinion gear is sticking out, the power should flow through the starter, so if there is something holding the gear from sliding back in when you de-energize the plunger it will just...
