preferably one that isn't painted if i'm correct.... find a bolt or another ground wire and attach it. don't do something like taping it to a painted price of metal...lol. unless paint isn't a good insulator ....but i'm pretty sure paint in between the metal of the chassis and your switch...
This is stupid...
I went to my local parts dealer who gives me good deals and i thought about buying platnums but they were considerably more expensive than the copper/standard plugs so i just said screw it im not paying that much for plugs... (no job)
well i ended up getting NGK plugs...
if it was cheap i'd consider it. i dont have the money or the want to plunk down 100 dollars on some esthetic appeal... BHG is going to const several hundred and i dont have a job yet. lol...but yeah i'd like one. if it were a great deal.. even if it had a shoddy finish and some knicks i'd...
ok well i checked that stud and it was loose but i took some vice grips and a towel and tightened it...doesnt seem to wobble so i'll see if the engine/machine shop can check it and let me know later.
i priced some things w/my local toyota dealer and;

Does anyone know if i'm supposed to purchase the exaust studs on my own if i'm having them redone, or if i can? or should i leave that to the machine shop?? i have to get new ones and heli-coil them. one stripped out so i'm doing them all.
i thought i'd price check those, especially if they...

do you tell them..
"1986"
"1986.5" or
"1987" just to make sure you dont get a MKII...

what material is ours? i know it's kind of a thin foam covered in rubber...but is there another name or more specific material to call it?
i've seen a few pics of mkiv's (dont like to look into them much) and i like our interior better. all the gauges are angled toward the driver and IMO a...
i'm probably going with the toyota head gasket set as well... sadly its expensive. i'm trying to find out more about other prands like ishino...they have a set online which is in the 140-200 dollar range :D . i hope i can get a better deal than 350 for the yota set though.
mine is messed up too, my right wiper stick is screwed up and it doesnt click anymore. i was clicking it back and forth and all of a sudden the plastic to the left of the part you turn on the tip is no longer solid and spins as well now...
