    Timing Belt Tensioner Spring Ratings

The spring is used only to set the tension, it's not an auto tensioner. It's cheap as hell from toyota (around $5)

Where does it go? It looks more like a switch for the brake lights or something...

Breather filters on the PCV locations? What about the ISC valve?

Anyone that respects the people around them ;) Only 2 reasons not to run a cat, you're cheap, or you run race gas. Dumping them into the exhaust ONLY works with high flow through the exhaust, i.e. full throttle. That's why they work fine on drag cars, and also why they won't work fine on...

Why would you need to know? If it's worn, it's free length will increase, marking it for replacement.

will my stock fuel pump be fine to run if im just running my 1jz stock and untuned?

Incorrect. They went to one fuel pump after 08/1990, before that, there are different pumps for GE or GTE. His profile says he has an 89, so he has a GE pump. Will he be fine? Maybe, but it's still an old GE pump on a turbo car, and most 1J swaps are not entirely stock (intake and exhaust...

    Carbon Fiber Inspection Covers---Really!?

Really not a bad price, considering how many got lost or are missing and they're cheaper than buying from the dealer... Kind of dumb though to make em from CF

Break out the custom race dashboards

There's a reason it's called a dash PAD... I thought I had pics of the sheetmetal dash in one of the drag cars from one of the TX2K meets but can't find it. Car was full on drag car, no interior, cage, racing seat, etc...

Were there really double platnium plugs in 88????

If you have a stock BOV, then the next most common issue would be a boost leak.

Were there really double platnium plugs in 88????

Yes, platinum plugs have been around for damn near forever (the engine in the Wright Flyer used platinum electrodes). Sounds more like you have a BOV that's vented to the atmosphere...

Why resell when you can contact the seller and get your money back or the right wheels?

    Gas Pedal Adjusments

Supposed to be lower. People have modified/adjusted the brake pedal so they can better do heel-toe.

My new wheels have been modified.

While I think they would be fine, I'd be pissed too. It's obvious the seller modified them.

Breather filters on the PCV locations? What about the ISC valve?

Do both ;) I know IJ has some good pics of how his setup was done.

Breather filters on the PCV locations? What about the ISC valve?

System routed to the throttle body and the accordian is best (there is very low flow through the accordian anyway). Routing it to the exhaust won't work on a street car, plus it will destroy a cat.
