Nope, I am far from dropping the engine back in my car. If there are questions about fitment, take a look at the difference in length of the intake runners (7m top, 2jz bottom) With the adapter installed, the side profile (looking into the tb side of the 2jz) is nearly identical as well.
very nice...how difficult was it to remove those front A-arms? (mine are still on my original subframe...probably sitting in some scrap yard somewhere lol)
there were alot of broken bolts when I disassembled areas exposed to the elements - I then learned to soak every bolt I removed in liquid wrench, and had a lot more success.
Motor will be sort-of left as-is. It currently has 50k kms on a full performance rebuild including:
hot tanked/magged/painted block
.020 overbore w/new toyota pistons (only real weak point of the engine)
p&p (gasket matched), rebuilt head
new oil pump, water pump, etc
