After a bit of research, I think can confirm this (at least going from the examples I've found) 89+ Mouldings really do blow mine out of the water That leads me to yet another question. If euro cars got a special design of mouldings to prevent the problem johnathan was talking about...

I'd be sourcing my mouldings from a Euro car. We never got the 89+ tails, which leads me to wonder if we ever got the newer mouldings at all.

Oh neat. I never even knew there was even a difference between the two visually, other than the colors that they came in? You learn something new every day :)

Have you got any pictures? Did they even do solid black moldings on the preface lift? I've only seen them on 89+ cars On a similar note, Can I use 89+ moldings on my preface lift? I'm guessing not because I've heard before the front fenders are slightly different. Thanks Josh
