^^ A whole second? Can anyone else confirm that headers make that must of a difference? I was always under the impression that the power gains of them were minimal. Unless someone can throw down some proof that headers will make a major difference, I'd say save you your pennies for an engine...

I'm currently running the crappy stock setup through a fairly decent kenwood headunit and it's bloody awful. Has anyone got experience with Infinity 6012's? I was thinking using those up front, stock rears and a 12 inch sub, maybe even a crappie amp.

I was considering pulling off the sound deadening from my carpet today. Just how bad is the road noise when it has been removed? I'd like to shift some weight from the car, but I don't want to sacrifice any functionally if possible, the car is a daily driver, not a race car.

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. Build up an engine properly on the side, and when something major breaks on the original motor, swap the built motor in.

MKIV style wings that have been designed specifically for the MKIII can look good, but a bastardized wing fresh off of a MKIV glued on to the back of your car is just going to look well, crap.

I think they'd look pretty slick on your car. I just think you need some black wheels to contrast off of the white. Lowered a bit and sitting on those Volks, you'd have one nice DD there. I wish I could get a Lex as a daily driver. Any lex would do. :(

Sorry for the slight thread hj jack but - What would happen if a car was continuously driven with a BHG, and then someone did a basic HG job on it. Would it be obvious if terminal has been done?
