Going 2JZGE is what I plan to do if and when something major breaks my 7M-GE. To answer your question yes, it would probably be more realiable than a 7M, and it does make slightly more power (220(ish)BHP compared with the 200BHP of the 7M-GE). Initial swap costs seem high compared to another...

I doubt think you'll be under 4k cheap though. The cheapest MKIV I could find is $6,600 and there are quite a few MKIV's knocking about here.

I didn't think it was anything special until the bottom part of the car loaded and I could see it's true stance. The wheels, the suspension, it makes it look so frigging badass? Has it upset any unsuspecting posers yet?

We're not just looking as brand vs brand here, we're looking at more or less completely different cards here. I'd Go with the EVGA card because it seems to be a fair bit quicker than the 7600GS (I've seen a few benchies and am not too impressed). I've never seen too much of a difference...

That's one hell of a deal. I vote 7M. You'd be really different, but you'd run the risk of pissing off alotta people, or maybe go NA-T on the 2JZ, hell next to anything would make that thing awesome. Still can't get over that price.

I don't think it's rod knock. I unplugged the leads running from the spark plugs to the dizzy one by one, the noise was still there. The noise disappears at around 2500RPM anyways, so I'm happy. The ticking wasn't there when I got the car, that's why I'm so worried, and the tractor like sound...
