Ride height might not be the only difference, align it to the early specs and see if it helps. Bump steer is changed by small changes in component alignment. I didn't ask this, but do you have power steering, and is it in good working order?

Depends on the year integra. Techincly the RSX is an Integra (but they went to shitty McPherson struts instead of the double wishbone suspension of the old ones).

You just answered your own question. But I'll be nice. It's a cooler, it's to cool the oil. There isn't a t-stat in the system, it's entirely pressure based.
The stock oil cooler is a pressure based system that opens up around 40psi and bleeds oil off to the oil cooler and then drains back into the tank. It's normal.
