bear with me, as this will be my first rebuild....
i have a freshly rebuilt shortblock ready to go into the car. i'll be using all the parts from my running engine on it. the running motor was rebuilt not long ago, and has arp headbolts, and possibly an hks mhg. the question is..... can i...
just buy a bic downpipe. you can go with a divorced one or a recirculated one. the divorced one will be much louder as it lets the wastegate vent to the air.
the block was decked with the timing cover before i got it. i'll have the head milled when i get it off, but how do i tell how much was taken off the block?
Thanks guys. This thing was supposed to rebuilt on a budget. I know i'll probably need to do a clutch and a bunch of other stuff, so i was hoping to save on some stuff.
I'm going to definitely get the head milled so i can use a mhg, i just wasn't sure if the cams and valves would make a...

can a stock hg with arp studs handle that?
i just picked up a rebuilt shortblock from a member in long island. it has a balanced crank, new toyota bearings and rings on stock rods and pistons. everything looks good, but i had a couple questions.
what's everyone's thoughts on having the stock pistons coated at swaintech? i don't...
those may not fit. i have 04 cobra wheels on my supra, and the rears are going to be tight if i lower it. to add to that, i think the ones in your pic have a more aggressive offset than mine. here's a pic for reference.
