Some ecus have a resetting screw that will make the CEL light blink on the dash and tell you what code you are throwing.
And honestly ...I hate the tsrm.
Well Did some research and thee 2jz I have is a `92 that came out of a sc300
Specs:
Base Engine Type: Inline 6 Horsepower: 225 hp
Max Horsepower: 6000 rpm Torque: 210 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 4800 rpm Drive Type: RWD
The VVTi has:
225 HP @ 5800 RPM
220 ftlb @ 3800 RPM
So hp is almost...
umm, lol...Youre wrong.
That why I corrected the false statement.
I've been on here a few months and the "I heard stuff" and this
"old guy told me" crap gets old fast.
How about you read the n/a stickies before you post bs.

1. copy and paste link
2. read post #2 under intake.
3. realize you have just been owned.
4. go outside and put your resonator back on.
5. youre done =]...
Wrong !
That big resonator is a Helmholtz resonator, It is an acoustic resonance chamber that modifies the acoustic frequency of a sound wave like a spring oscillating with a mass attached on the end. [It helps pull the incoming air into the TB] Almost like a very mini turbo.
What you want it...
Im building a custom heat shield for my n/a after I get it all welded up and fitment is right I'll post pics.
Thats about the only thing that will benefit from what i've read.and what Nick said as well..get a MAF adapter and open element dry filter.

1.
Do we have to remove the intake mani to replace our plugs or am I not seeing something here ?
2.
Any other way than just adjusting the Throttle cable to clean up
throttle response / slack. Stronger spring..? etc ? Gas pedal is kinda "jiggly"
3.
I have a light on the left hand side...
I could but enter the turbo class, but most of those cars are newer Porsche 911/Carrera, Dodge Vipers, Corvette etc.
I think I would have a nicer/faster street car but just get mutilated at the track trying to hang with those guys.
I think I'd sooner save for a while.. & buy a 86-92 Turbo...
FYI: Thats a 91-92 GTA Trans Am Wing, I hated it on my TA when I had it, Certainly wouldt put it on my Supra. But I <3 The spoiler less look on our cars so.. Just my 0.02 $
