Kenwood all they way.... i have the kdc-mp928 and it rocks. Pioneer is good to but it lags too much on reading mp3 cds. Eclipse is too high for my price range. but i would say the best head unit money can buy.
i have the 89+ cup holder's in my 87. its pretty easy. make sure you use the top center console lid. also you will need to pull out the peice from the center that the clip on the armrest goes to.
bakers precision already has a clutch line made for the r154 since they do all the lines on my car they keep the stock lines to replicate in to nice braided lines with earl's fittings and also put sleeves on the lines too.
i past with a 3" cooleeze megamouth dp and full 3" catback with just one cat and some methanol in the gas tank. and running wot on the freeway for 15mins before i smogg
i jack up on the front tow hooks and the rear i believe there is a spot where the rear trailing arms are mounted are located that match up with a floor jack perfectly. its actually pictured above ^
i went through the same problem with my rebuild..... but mine only laste 300miles before the oil and water mix. head gasket wasnt good. it was just a faulty head bolt that couldnt hold down its torque.
