Not 100% sure what your asking, don't know what the HKS FPR has. But whatever you do if I understand this part, is don't run a mechanical fuel gauge into your cabin. Period. Good way to get cooked.
Couldn't be more wrong, unless of course it's a race car your driving...in a race.
teedoff00 there is few more threads with some good info too. jdub, IJ, and jetjock have a very good understanding of the system.
Sorry to hear that man...you should of answered my question yesturday. 30 seconds on no oil, good luck dude. I would pull the engine and some rod/main caps and check for damage.
Bottom end should still be oiled right? I hope you used lots of assembly lube, take some pics of the cam caps when you pull them.
And if that passage is bocked...just goes to show people how much cam clearance does for oil pressure.
Not to mention passing people, or left had turns at a green light with the car across from you turning left blocking your view, kinda dumb IMO. But he does want a LHD drive.
Seriously call a registry or DMV, I'm sure theres lots of speculation here....
Im sure he changed it, he told me he was a Nissan tech for 10+years, and he did the head retorque after a few heat cycles. Told me he had the deck/head machined ect.(Wish I knew then what I know now, I'd have A LOT more questions) I've changed it 3-4 times I think myself, the sample was taken on...

Here is my sample, what do you all think? NA-T done about 2-3 thousand km's ago maybe...Might explain the silcone, that or a leak, or my shitty air filter.
Lead is scaring me. Glad to see no potassium or coolant/water.
The rebuild was done by the PO, and I only took his word so you never...
I'd say the MOST important thing is to make sure the oil pan flange is flat and true. Followed by proper torque on the nuts/bolts so you don't squeeze out your gasket. Myself I used Loctite Instant gasket, comes in an aerosol can, pretty nifty.
I will post as soon as I find out how to edit the PDF they sent me, blank my address out. I'm at work so I don't want to mess around too much, I only got computer access two days ago haha.
Well I got my oil sample results back. Pretty well I was pleased except for my Lead was 9ppm. My question is can it only be rod/main bearings, or can it be my turbo? I also changed one of my cams few hundred k's before the sample but there isn't any lead up there correct? Only steel and...

Just a guess its a 34, but check them.(Above link) Also use your friends compressors and some end caps, block off the turbo inlet and blow into the 3000 pipe.(Or your equialent) This way theres less risk of spinning your...
