I don't know if im following here..You have a coolant leak and it quit leaking when you tightened the exhaust manifold?
My bet is any number of coolant hoses close to the exhaust manifold if it is leaking(not into the exhaust)...
It has been done and can be pretty safe as long as you have a very good tune.
At the very least I would install a Walbro and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and remove or drill out the J tube if you plan to run the Lex with 440's.
^ Nice try..but he has an external gate...Which can't be shimmed to my knowledge.
Edit: Bah..beat by Jdub.
Does the boost stay steady at 18psi throughout the run or does it drop down at those rpms? You could try a stiffer spring in the WG. Do you know what pound spring is in there?
I believe...
Someone is just going to have to buy one and test it out.. If it fails, since it has a t3 center section it could probably be rebuilt with all real parts for $400..maybe less.
I'd buy one now but my stocker is holding up fine atm and I'm not ready to upgrade the turbo anyway. Plus I'd rather...
Yea...One is the oil inlet and one is the drain. And there are no coolant ports.
I believe I got it right the first time...it's a t3/4 center section. Oil cooled only.
The FMU is a very crude fuel management system. It's a rising rate fuel pressure regulator so depending on the model, for every pound of boost it sees it rasies fuel pressure by X amount. Most of them are 12:1 so it raises fuel pressure 12psi for every psi of boost.
GET RID OF IT. You don't...
Hmmm...Looks like he didn't incorporate the dipstick tube into his design..
You might just have to get a custom dipstick with the flexible SS hose as the tube to make it work. It still looks like it would be a pretty hard angle so that might not work either. You might have to completely remove...
