I removed the sensor from the AFM housing/tunnel and cleaned it externally from all the gunk that had been gathered throughout the years, then i opened the lid of the sensor and poked around a bit(carfully!) but soon gave up, I'ts sealed pretty good... Anyway, my car ran like crap before but...

I hooked up a voltmeter to the Vf1 connection i the diag. connector today to check my lambda readings after I somehow managed to clean out my faulty AFM. The car runs and pulls fine but the Vf1 reads 5.2 Volts at WOT, should I be alarmed or continue boosting? It reads 2.5 Volts at cruise speed.

I cleaned out the plugs twice, it's dry, it made a big difference when I cleaned out the AFM but it isn't 100%. I recon the AFM isn't completly gone it just gives the engine a incorrect reading, therefore messing up the a/f ratio...

Well, the problem is, I'm in Sweden and Lexus cars are pretty rare, we all drive Volvos over here so I don't think Toyota bothered trying to sell Lexus.. The $300 AFM is from the junkyard and they are usually 40% of the price for a new one, so... I cleaned out the AFM today and the car runs...

I'm thinking perhaps I should go for a Maft Pro instead, a used Lexus AFM will cost me like $300 and a Maft Pro with all the trimmings is about $600 and then I'll get a boost controller and fuel computer... No more AFM!

I was out boosting a couple days ago and a radiator hose broke (small one that supplies the turbo) and coolant sprayed out all over the engine bay. The car is'nt running properly after that. I dried everything out, esp. aruond the plugs. The car seems to run fine when its cold and I rev it on...

My -91 T Manual trans. is a bit jerky when I release the throttle and when I accelerate again, most noticeable at low speeds. There is also a "klunk" sound coming from the rear with every "jerk". Any ideas? diff? bushings?

I'm going with 2" pipes since I'm using the stock intercooler and keeping the 3000 pipe. Once i go with a bigger intercooler and remove the 3000 pipe I'll make some new pipes... /Stefan, Sweden

A bit off topic, but you guys say that the best pup gas you can get is 91 Ocatane, here in Sweden(and most of europe as far as I know) the "worst" pump gas you can get is 95 Octane and the best is 99 Octane(guess which one I use:evil2: ). Are there different ways to measure Octane or what...
