there are bearings that are on the differential, those could be bad, or it may be a wheel bearing. it also depends how long youve been driving with no fluid, the gears themselves often times can make noise if worn out or not installed properly.
how rich is it going? it might just be a hiccup from being too rich. if you're on a stock turbo at 15psi i highly doubt that you need to upgrade injectors. have you tried taking out fuel in that area from the afc?
well im not too familiar with the emanage i know with the maft pro timing is adjustable to a certain point, but for some reason it doesnt actually display on the unit, so i imagine the emanage should be able to without changing ignitors etc.
an easy test that sometimes works is also if you get a coolant pressure tester and start the engine with the tester on, check to see if there is more pressure than normal.
