Yeah but a supra has to roll about 2 feet before it generates any speed pulse. Its a 4000 pulse per mile system. You could do better with a digital motion sensor, but it still only shits down after movement. I've been installing proffessionally for 18 years. I've seen it all.
Hey Jeff, just a little bit of info on one of the earliest MKIII's. In 89 I bought an 86.5. N/A hardtop black w/grey leather 5-speed. It had ABS and the sport package w/TEMS and headlight washers. It also had the factory alarm system in it.
Ok first of all JJ is comparing the price of a P.O.S. Crimestopper IN THE BOX to a FULLY prepped harnessed top of the line Clifford. If anybody can find me this model in the box for $125 I'll take ten. Forget about what it would cost for the average person to duplicate this once you add in the...
Ok just to clear up a few things. I'll still do any of the older systems if its still available. The new unit is the Matrix 3.3. It replaces the old 3.3. Clifford refers to these as the new "LE" series, but doesn't have a new model number for...
Did you even look at the other thread? If someone wants to buy crimestopper in a box I can sell them that too.
Please don't clutter this thread with these types of posts.
You will not find what I'm selling anywhere else at a better price.
Yeah well remote starting a stick is no magic trick. I just have to worry about the ass hat that leaves it in gear. And we gots lots of those around here. I will be requiring a signed waiver of liability and a photocopy of proof of age for these.
I now have the newest remote starter/alarms from Clifford in stock. I took a quick video to show how cool the new "ghost led" remotes look. The video quality is crappy but you can get the idea of how the LED's are hidden in the bezel of the remote and how bright they are.
Having trouble...
the biggest changes to the car before release were ride height, spring rates and shock valving. Steering feel is most affected by the steering rack and how it is geared and valved. this is why toyota went to variable asist in 89. Also unsprung weight is a big factor.
On an other note...
I was wondering if anybody has heard of, attempted, or done one of these swaps. The A650e is the 5-speed auto out of a few different Lexus models. The A750E is out of V6 2WD 2005 Tacomas. I figured the 650 might be a good fit because it was available in the IS300 behind a jz, might be able to...
I think a cooler swap would be for a newer style toyota shifter like the one in my 06 tacoma. There is no button on it. You just hit the brakes and move it through the gates. You can also replace the knobs one it with any manual knob you like. I'm gonna have to take apart the two and compare/see...
