even though its for the mkiv..the coils are the same, as is the ignitor. nnot sure about the CPS though
they use the same torque converter
im interested on how they are internally different... mine did seem to shift different when i went with an n/a trans
i can tell you if the 2j converter will work on a 7m trans in a couple of weeks heh.
i'll put my money on that your power steering is not hooked up possibly. why isnt the pps wired up? might want to look into that. for now is there any noise coming from the pump? fluid level? wheels wont affect power steering at all
also check and make sure there is a cooler hooked up to the...
did you check your coils for cracks? thats what gave me a hard time on my second 2jz swap - after some jbweld they ran fine and the car started
as far as checking the ignitor and ecu you put them in a known running car? or via tsrm?
yeah does look like a short shifter, are you just running that one electric fan? the bushing didnt look that bad mine looked a bit worse ;);) hehe. 1 trip to marlin crawler fixed that though: D
from what ive run into the sensors are just different and you have to swap them from your old trans to the one you just bought. if there is an extra sensor you've never seen it might be the abs sensor if you dont have abs or something to that effect
:biglaugh: knowing that would've helped ;)
how did the wear on the trans look btw when you pulled the pan? probably not related but well you never know ;)
