I think the quality of gasoline helps too. Personally in my 1.5L turdcell haven't had a problem starting. Even at -40C/-40F!!! She turns over damn slow but fires no problem, powersteering pump crys...Thats not plugged in. Rotella T, 0W-40 Full sythetic.
Good battery helps, and a full tank of...
I know, I mean is there anything one can wire in. Similar to the HKS speed defender.(If thats the right name?)Or is a standalone the only option for higher revs?
So does your engine/tach only rev to 6250RPM?
I'm going to be a running a 7M crank/late model block with pre 89 electronics, so...
So why did Toyota lower the rev limit on the post 89's? I know the crank was changed but curious as to why the rev limit was lowered.
Second question. Is there anyway to raise the rev limit while using the Maft Pro? Something small I can wire in?
I had one of these in my system:3d_frown:
Came out of parking lot with some decent revs and the damn thing broke, if it didn't spray coolant out of the hood, might not of notice in time:aigo: Guess it just couldn't take the heat over time, not sure how long it was on there, PO put it on...find...
Um...New..
Paid I think 37$ for somethin(Can't remember the name brand, Monroe?) Good for over a year now, would pay that every six months....Can't spare the brain cells....
Yup haha, went with the Fidanza, also gonna go with the ACT HD PP, and the Six puck disc. Guess I'll see. Good for 520ft/lbs hope its enough.
Topgear let me know how you make out.-EDIT-Beat me too it.
F*** I allready ordered my flywheel:( Or else I would of just went with the twin disc. Maybe I can cancel.
What is the clamping force on the twin disc?
I was looking at the same setup your running, even flywheel.
How was your street driving? Friendly?
That clutch is rated to 730ft/lbs why do you think it would slip?
Would this clutch be too much for 5-600hp, hopefully similar torque. I'm assuming that it may be a bit harsh for driving on the street. Anyone have experience with this unit?
Right on, shant be a big problem then:)
Another question not to thread jack, but I'm sure the OP may intrigued too.
Didn't the post 89 have a lower rev limit? So if you use pre 89 electronics on a post 89 is there any ill effects?
