took them down to a 600 grit paper then polished. i figured i can see the fact that haven't shaved for a day in them, so they're good enough for me

the depth of the grooves is level with the rest of the valve cover. so when you shave off the ridges, everything is level

same as before, i used a bench grinder and took the ridges down to about 1/16, then used some 60grit on an orbital to shave them down the rest of the way so i didn't gouge the metal around the ridges

was bored again today and started polishing the valve covers, i was having some issues getting everything out from between the three little ridges that were on top of it, so i took a grinder to them and removed the issue completely. i think the smoother appearence looks better now, <what...
