My guess is that it might be the starter solenoid. I had the same prob,and i've seen it happen to another Supra owner. Shit happens at the most un-opportune time!

I have a similar leak on the passenger side.It's constant and won't go away. The only thing I can figure is that it might be the oil pan gasket. Really fun to change with the motor still in it. I would suggest Gunking the hell out of it and then throw in some Simple Green, Wash and repeat. THEN...

I have a HKS that has the volt meter in it. It basically just does what it's supposed to do,and thats all I want. You can burst your wad on something simple like this,and save the rest5 for go-fast parts. Just depends on what you want!

True,but fenders/hoods/doors are easily relaceable. A "rust bucket" that can smoke your ass is more embarrassing than a clean one. You never know.IF he bought the car,he might be replacing all that anyways.Good barganing chip
