It depends on the condition of the AFM. Guys help me here, if I'm not mistaken you can use your current AFM electronics and just swap out the housing. I remember reading something about doing that but not 100% sure on it.

What boost level are you running? Most common injector up grade is 550 CC with a Lex AFM. You may want to look in to a piggy back of some sort and a wide band to help you keep everything in order.

Is it all the way in the off position?

Did you push the button on the back side of the column? My wife had the same problem with the "new" key i made for her. My key was worn to were it would just come out if you pulled a liitle.
