1J's are MAP based.. your motor isn't going to run any differently due to an atmospheric BOV. however, each time you vent on a MAF based motor like an RB or SR, the motor runs rich (possibly stalls) because the post-metered air escapes while the ECU continues to add fuel.

IMO, it looks horrid.. the design of the duct does not fir the design of the front fascia. as far as the other skylines, the ducts were of a different design (integrated slots L/R), and they looked decent.. same goes for when the 180sx owners were installing turbo-A ducts, it looked good on a...

oil and damaging blow by vapors under vacuum?.. what detrimental effects can be expected of this?
I wouldn't want these to come into contact with all of the other safe vapors such as CO, NOx, SO/SO2, hydrocarbons, etc.
I just did a catchcan on #1 because I didn't want oil/vapor going into my twins.. with #4, I just replaced the stock pcv valve with a 2J one and never cared to mess with it after that.
I should post some pics.. but I can't seem to get over thinking if my car looks to high in the rear because it is, or if it's an illusion because I have 245s stretched on a 9.5" rim.
guess I'll throw on the spacers and see if that clears anything up..
