    The ECU connectors, and the connections in the ECU need to be the same color. Thats why they are referred to as "yellow plug" or "Gray plug". Also if you pick up a motor set with a different color than you have now, you may have to repin some of the body connectors in the ecu area.

    You may be on to something with your last statement. I would go back to a stock setup with a new clutch and fan shroud. Any clue why the old ones ate themselves up? Bad motor mount?

    The issue is definitely in the cluster, maybe take it apart and see if you can find the issue, or replace it.

    Adjusting timing will not solve this issue. The technician is a bonehead, timing is to be checked by the technician, on all cars where timing is adjustable. As to solving the issue, the car is not in fuel control. Pulling codes would be a start. Whats the O2 voltage?

    When the system gets low, it starts creating foam, and can take a while to purge the system of bubbles after refilling. Any clue where the leak is?

    Why do you have the positive cable going to the alt, and not the starter? How are you powering the starter? Where did you run the small wire that used to go to the positive battery terminal?
