Join the Toyota Supra MK3 Appreciation club. Really friendly people and super quick response. One of the guys on there rebuilds 57 trims, well known for it. Can't remember off the top of my head but if you join and post status someone will know and you'd be able to get a rebuild real soon:)...
First, I asked if it was rpm related not tps. Second you shouldn't be setting your own idle, like 3p says, the ECU does that for you using the iscv. The idle adjustment screw comes set from the factory and isn't supposed to be touched. Unless your timing is off or some other mechanical issue...
It wont make a difference as long as the Throttle body isn't smaller than your ic piping. It will only flow as much as the piping will let it. I mean stock is 2.75 inches which is big enough unless you're wanting to run 3 inch piing.
It should do that. Just like starting the car without the afm, it makes the revs go up and down up and down then about 7 seconds later the car shuts off.
Also is the bogging out rpm related or throttle position related.
Might wanna do that. Can't think of anything else to check at the moment. Have you done a compression test/leak down test? You aren't burning oil or coolant are you?
A supra isn't the best car to have when money is a problem. Fix your code first. Always the first thing to do when the car isn't running right is check/fix codes. If that doesn't do it move to the next thing.
