    Have you tried taking a stethescope to the running engine to pinpoint the exact location of the noise you're hearing?

    Never had one since I've owned mine, but the recipt slips in the glove box indicate that it has had at least two in it's life time starting around 2002, and the next in '03.

    What do your vacuum hoses look like? Are they newly replaced or older? Start squeezing your IC hoses (the rubber ones) and check for cracks, don't forget the one going to the turbo.

    Fill it up to the full mark only, not to the top. The full mark is set lower to compensate for the expansion of the heated coolant.

    Slight bump from the past here, but since this post was referenced today I'd like to add that the second link is a damn nice piece to have! It's a snap to install the oil pressure sender in one hole, and an oil temp sender in the other. Thanks in advance for taking your time in finding that one!

    dugums build - need a ton of help!!!

    You will need the AFPR to lower the pressure to keep you from running too rich on larger injectors. It's a good idea to upgrade the fuel pump while you're at it too. FTR: RC injectors are 550cc's and PTE's are, I think, 580cc's.
