but do you guys have a VVTI aristo one? :P it might well indeed be an aristo one just a much newer one. the picture i supplied is the one used on non vvti 2jz's
as far as i know only the automatic 2jz ECU's have a limit like that (you can bypass it easy enough though)
i doubt its the coil packs that are solely responsible but to check them pull them out and take off the blue boot and look for obvious signs of cracking and chipping. fix it with jbweld...
when i did a gte into a sc300 it cost 3700$ including the engine seals water pump harness.. and reused the n/a fan with spacers and used the n/a accessories and sold all the extra parts so added up it might have been less than 3700. but he kept the W58 :(so that made things real cheap right there
