my bad i should have looked up the codes first insted of tryin to go off memory. your right the code 42 is tps not cps thanks for catchin me on that. as for the code 51 i dont think that will make his car run bad correct me if im wrong
the green is ecu temp sensor on the side thermostat housing. sensor should match the color. the other is cold start sensor on top of thermostat housing.
all of the codes you are gettin are cps related. also you shouldnt have to advance your cam gears up 2 teeth. when all timed correctly your cps will look like this in the motor. time every thing right and start lookin for bad wires at and around the cps
yes i know this. but this is what i did. because the bottom of my ic is right up aganst the ac condensor or very close to it and the sheet metal over laps the ic to the bottom of the radiator anyways.
has any body ever done the 12mod rewire with a switch to turn the relay on when you are like tuning or racing and turn it off for like every day driving. or will this mess up the stock fuel pump resistor
first pull the ecu 15amp fuse to clear the codes. make sure every thing is pluged in. start the car. do it a couple times if it keeps goin dead. and then check for codes. it will give you a fresh start for trouble shooting
if you have a factory amp under the passenger seat you may have to find the wire that runs to that amp and rewire it so you will bypass the amp connections. or just find the wire were the head unit is and just wire it to the amp/antenna wire on your new head unit it should work that way too
oil will leak through the exaust side of the turbo like a dripping faucet which will burn every now and then when it dripps when the car is idleing. when you are moving the turbo is
spinning and exaust is flowing to much to notice it
i think you should check your ecu temp sensor. its the sensor on the thermostat housing usually it has a green plug. form what i understand the car will crank but runs like shit until it warms up. also check to see if you have any intake leaks in front of the turbo.
i dont want to sound like a dumbass or anything just want to know if they make a atmosphearic bov that will only release intake pressure and not draw a vaccume back through it like a diverter valve will at idle. the reason i ask is because i have only worked with the ones that will stay open...
