Bump. Won't be near my car for a bit and I want to get this ordered, any help would be appreciated.

I'm gonna be ordering a driveshaft from Jawsgear but i'm not at my car right now to get a measurement from the tailshaft of the tranny to the face of the differential. Does anyone else still have their measurement for their r154 driveshaft? It's for my '87 turbo. Thanks in advance.

Am I right that the boot should not have a large amount of fluid in it?

I'm still trying to track down my power steering leak. Several months ago I replaced both pressure lines as well as the feed line on the bottom of the reservoir because one of the pressure lines cracked. Even with those replaced, I still have a leak. It seems to leak from the driver side dust...

It will have the Power Steering idle-up port on the bottom, right? Are you going to have a bead around the tips of all the ports? They're not pressure lines, but I would still prefer having the bead on them.

Nope, it's high enough grit to get anything off of the glass and won't leave any visible marks. Last year a painter got a tid bit of overspray on a window :nono: and it came right off with the 2000 grit. It made the window clear/clean enought I did every window on my car! Wet sanding works...

Get some 2000 grit sand paper and go to town, then wipe with a wet cloth. Works wonders.

They were undertorqued from the factory. If they blow after that it's due to user error.

Has your car ever been wrecked? Has the car the current targa was on ever been wrecked? Either one of those could've caused a slight warping of the frame /targa :(

I use cruise control all the time :) Then again I live next to the highway, work next to the highway, and my school campus is quite near the highway. I take the highway a lot!

I know, I just like the buttonless look of that one. It was just an idea i'm tossing around!

Thanks, now I need to figure out what to do about the cruise buttons from my '87 wheel so I can still have cruise!

Will a japanese 89 non-airbag steering wheel fit and be plug and play still in an '87? I know and have read the write up to get a US 89 non-airbag wheel to work since it has cruise control and horn buttons on it, but this japanese (it claims) one I found doesn't have the horn nor cruise control...

There are 2 boots and a metal gasket-esque thing. I did the sogi mod to mine, and kept both boots and the metal thingy, put a tiny bit of sound deadener on the shaft and i've got only *slighty* more noise than before but no breeze on the highway.

I just think they throw off the styling on any color of mkIII. That's why I bought OEM's :)
