I looked last night after work, looks flat! I'll have to check again in better light.
So you've seen cars with good condition mounts do it?
One would think, but my driveshaft carrier bearing is also shot so I get that clunk upon acceleration and deceleration.
Would you mind snapping a few pictures of your radiator? I want to see how it sits against the radiator support, how close the fan looks to the inside of the shroud etc.
And are you able to install/remove your radiator with the shroud attached?
Fan clutch looks/feels fine, i'll have to check the mounts. Does your PWR have the lower screw hole for the auxiliary fan? Mine didn't have it, only the two uppers.
Do you have any pictures of how your radiator mounts? I'd like to see on yours looking into where the fan goes into the shroud, on...
I wouldn't call that great lengths, I put new hardware on everything I remove. The rest of what I did is a normal part of installing a radiator.
I'll be checking the car out again when I get home from work and see if I can figure anything out. Thanks guys.
I put in my PWR Radiator from 935 Motorsports last week, and I pop my hood tonight to discover 2 fan blades broken off on my '87 turbo. I know how much thicker it is over the stock unit, and I had it sitting flush against the radiator support. The fan and fan shroud were purchased new from...

I vote 5.0. Especially since a company makes kits to help the swap. That's something i've wanted to do for a while now.
Based on the problem in this thread, as well as the wind noise issue in your other thread... have you checked the seal under the mirror itself to the car? If that is missing or bad you'll not only get the mirror vibration but the wind noise as well. Ask me how I know! :biglaugh:
I bought an 89 non-airbag steering wheel and 89 combo switch off of ebay (different auctions). Turns out the previous owner of the wheel tried to wire it to a 3 pin harness to work on a pre89. Problem is, I plugged it in to my stock 3 pin combo switch and the cruise set buttons don't work. Since...
