I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

I woke up and started doing my valve cover gaskets, got side tracked/hungry, went and ate, then went to the track to see a couple friends run their bikes. So I forgot to get any daytime pictures! haha, sorry!

Here's a daylight picture for those that have been waiting: http://www.teamfe.net/uploads/gaugeday.jpg Sorry it isn't better, I went out to warm up my car for work and decided to snap that while I was out there. Time for work! :)

I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

I haven't messed with this yet. I didn't know they could do that. All i've done is disable the power-on sound, and toy with view/clear peak, and set the warning psi on my boost gauge.

The 52mm is great looking. High res link: http://www.teamfe.net/uploads/prosport.jpg And yeah, don't wire it to something that is wired to the rheostat/dimmer... if it gets bumped down very much the gauge shuts off, heh. Right now mine is wired to the Ashtray light negative and positive (for...

I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

I just finished wiring mine in- the gauge is of course brighter, but the shade isn't *too* far off. Doesn't bother me a bit. Mine works perfectly! I'll try to take some daytime pictures when i've got time off work, heh. So far i'm happy with it. I haven't hooked up my water temp gauge yet, though.

I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

That's a bummer! I just got home from work and my gauges were waiting for me. I'll probably put them in tonight after I eat and i'll take some daytime pictures soon!

I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

I've read all the NASIOC threads on them, and they all have nothing but good things to say- even in the daytime.

Yeah, they're supposed to be a bright white during the day. Makes them 100x easier to see.

    PS Pump question

I've got a reman'd power steering pump waiting to go on my car, but looking at the TSRM: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=SR&Page=45 I can't figure out where the vacuum lines (air control valve hoses) go on it. I know you have to reuse a few things from your...

How to take out foglight bulbs?

Heh, I think it is too. One of the bulbs on my '87 went out so I replaced it with the h3 out of a spare '89 fog. Both were how I described!

How to take out foglight bulbs?

You don't replace JUST the glass bulb, you replace the h3 bulb as a whole: http://www.globalpremier.com/gpthunder7500k/gpthunder7500k-bulb-h3.jpg There should be a metal arm that folds over and locks it in place, just fold it up/over and you should be good!

    Horn Turns on Headlights

haha! When I first bought my car and it was sitting in front of my house with the front end taken apart (bought it wrecked), I honked the horn for the hell of it and the headlights popped up! I remember posting on here or SF and I don't think anyone believed me! LOL

Someone make these - I'd buy one.

I'd buy it, mine's been missing since I bought the car wrecked.

    Pre 89 & 89+ Fog light question

The 89's will work on the 88 harness. I tried some spare 89 fogs on my 87 to see if they worked, and they did.
