I'm betting the boost controller was off... 400HP will light up the tires pretty easily at those speeds.
The Honda was definately quick, but a stripped interior kills it (as well as the terrible sound it makes)
Keep in mind the stock IC was one of the better ones of that time. Other factory turbo cars (if they had an intercooler) were very restrictive compared to ours.
That said, of course you can do better ;)
Hmmm didn't know they were wasted spark. Looks like the engine management is the same as BMW used on their V12? (i.e. 2 ECU's functioning as 2 I6 engines)
