Yep, you'll need a pair of spanner wrenches to adjust them. I think you can still get them from HKS. All spanner wrenches are not made the same, so I recommend getting them from the company that made them.
What happens is the hub is incorrectly assembled. When it's incorrectly assembled, the snap ring will spin in it's groove, slowly machining it's way to failure. Once it's free, the slave will overextend and push the fork into the edge of the pressure plate.

Sounds like a clutch hub failure. The reason it dies is you're grinding the release fork against the spinning pressureplate... Pull inspection plates to confirm.
Laws are goofy about lights. Most of them are listed as actually being in use (i.e. on) while others say forward facing. It's why some places require offroad lights to have covers on them when driven on road.
You can bypass the dealer and buy aisin parts usually for far cheaper. Rockauto carries Aisin. Master is $54.79, Slave is $16.53, and if you want to replace the hose, they have a Dorman for $13.16 or you can buy a braided stainless steel one from one of the other vendors.

What part of the engine? Definately don't put it in the oil, and you could do much the same effect as sucking it into the intake by using water to steam clean the cylinders. Fuel system, run a decent fuel and you won't have issues...
