wow lol
gotta love the 7m valve cover gaskets lol
im suprised it wasnt sputtering real bad and misfiring
deffinetly suck up the oil, change plugs, change wires and replaced valve cover gaskets
allthough i dont think its going to cause the issue you having
im sure somebody in your town...
throttle body will never be 100% closed
there is a very small gap between butterfly and TB housing
this lets air in for your car to idle
you pulling on the throttle linkage is only making the gap smaller and letting less air in
if you know how to make a boost leak tester then make 1...
#1. i suspect the oil rings to be bad
compression tester will only show what shape the compression rings are in
have you tried a different sensor for the wideband?
seems your running rich on decel which will cause smoke(yes sometimes it will look blue)
#2. vaccum should be right around...
im down for grilling out before going to kil kare
ruffly what time would everyone be meeting up to grill out?
on a side note...
dam ball joints are freaking expensive for our mk3's
i paid 75 a piece for lowers...MOOG ball joints(never had any problems with them yet)
if anybody has...
yes but we will need to spray paint TRD AND SUPRA down the entire side of honda to make it a legit supra lol
i may be able to grab some cones from work
i will get intouch with some other mk3 owners on here to see if theyre coming or not
just as heavyman said...they relay will be warm
electricity going through the coil windings generate heat
how much heat...i am unsure
the more amperage the higher the heat
if it is to hot then there is a possibility you have to much resistance in the wiring or somebody wired to much stuff...
Import face off was ok
Boost logic had the black mk4 there...1st run was a 9.8
Didn't hook at the begining
Left after that lol
There was a mint condition grey mk3 auto with perfect interior....is that anybodies on here?
I'm going to street life
I will probably run my car lol
WTF PEOPLE!!!!!!
everyone goes 2 days without posting then all of a sudden its on like donkey kong lol
congrats wornoutsupra on having over 1000 post on a thread you started lol props
airhead04...sunday is looking pretty good
finally finished all the little crap with the guys...
my old ct did something like this
but under full boost(6psi) i could smell a little oil
then after coming to a stop some smoke would pass me lol
smelled like oil
new ct26 installed and no more problems with smoke
^^ exactly what he said lol
Also forgot to mention when using speed density you don't have to worry about poping intercooler piping off
The car will still run but for some reason won't build boost lol
If your lucky you will find a vpc for 300
Then you got to get some sort of piggyback fuel...
i dont know a whole lot about it and hopefully a forum member with more knowledge on the vpc will chime in
but what i do know is
it get rid of the restrictive and ugly AFM
switches over to speed density
there tuning advantages that come along with it as well
bov can be vented to...
