    smart man i ran my 3sgte ct26 for a while with shaft play like what you are experiencing didnt keep an eye on shaft play(like i should of done) long story short...i tore motor down for a rebuild after about 6 months lol for some reason my piston rings werent so happy with me lol

    thats a lot of oil lol ATTENTION OP I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LEAVING PCV HOSES OFF(even though im doing it lol) leaving them off will cause oil coking etc...

    i rewatched vid again the backfiring i thought i heard was noise in the video recorder lol ok so scratch the running rich part still go with plans on replacing plugs, wires and gaskets then check for boost leaks and give an update i know my 3sgte would smoke like a freight train...
