I believe I got it. I used this picture:

Basically behind the throttle body I found the disc like thing and shoved it on there. It probably came out due to my mechanic wailin on the engine (for testing purposes lol)...
Actually could someone post a pic pointing in the general direction of where it goes on an engine in a car? sorry for double post.
EDIT: NVM I believe I found where it goes. The tube it sticks on the end of has a very thin hole I must say. Ran the car, seems happy with it. Thanks guys

Looks like they pulled the wrong tranny. I got the turbo one.
Bad news it's missing the actual shifter and the clutch fork. Could be worse. Anyone know if I can get those at parts stores?
So I have just received what I am told is a turbo driveshaft. It doesnt seem to fit my transmission that I bought. Since the tranny I bought was from a junkyard is there a way of being sure the tranny is a turbo as opposed to NA?
Looks like I have been screwed by the junkyard. Sold a w58 as...
First, what is your budget? a few hundred
Can you do any of the work yourself? no not really
How picky are you when it comes to sound? just dont want any static, want my guitar riffs to sound clear

So a few months back I got a new main unit installed. A nice Kenwood kdc-x590.
However the mid and high ranges are fine but the bass is practically non-existent. Even if you ramp it up with the EQ.
I'm guessing it's to do with old father time. The car is an 89 turbo. Or is there another...
Well you will want to dial up the boost at some point and you'll certainly want to switch to manual (Im currently deep in that process, it sucks) shifting.
I'm an Atlanta resident, nice to see another GAer.
Also forgot:
replaced knock sensor (prev. owner broke it practically in half during what I guess was a starter change)
replaced water temps sensor(s)
AC needed better wiring to get it working............ summer was a bitch on hway 75
Thought I'd dig this up and update:
Checked the car in for a full body makeover and paint job.
Two major quarterpanel dents, 3 or 4 dings and a err bump on the roof (no idea) constitute the bodywork.
The paint job will be "sapphire black" a BMW color. There will be before, during and after...
Also it looks like the dshaft I got it no good.
Can I just get the yoke and add it to my current auto trans shaft?
OR Can I just get the half that connects to the transmission?
OR do I have to get another shaft? if so can I use the bearing I have on my auto? (brand new).
Thanks
