No, we figured that one out, I can't figure out the one square plug by the ECU plugs.. doesnt seem to fit....

So i'd have to rewire that one plug connector into my 89 gray play harness?

I thought you couldn't use the yellow plug ecu's with the gray plug harnesses?

yeah the big square plug u have your hand on... mine doesn't seem to plug in, why would it, and could it be different?

lol good luck... it's one of the plugs coming into the passenger compartment, not the plugs for the ecu, but the other ones.. it's the square one..

abs, might be it.. also I found that the one large square plug on the harness part that goes into the car, to the ecu, won't plug in.. it's a tad different.. and im thinking thats going to suck. How can it be different if it all came from the same year car?? Is this the 89 isn't 89 problem? lol

I had the same noise, I am swapping to the gte and a one piece driveshaft.. so I'll know in a day or two if it was the carrier bearing or not. I'll let you know for sure, that noise was starting to drive me NUTS

Had the same problem today after dropping a gte in my na.. little hidden hoses ftw!

So i've figured out all of the vacuums now, just trying to figure out what this plug is supposed to go to.. the plug itself is right above the EGR in the picture.. it's white(ish) any idea what it is? Im still lost on a few of the plugs from my first post.. but I'm starting to narrow it down...

I have an 89 NA, I put a grey plug ecu in from an 89 GTE car, with the correct ecu, and GTE engine to match.. there is a few plugs that I cannot find (or plug in). Everything else seems right, just a few stupid things.. more to come, tryin to get these few figured out first lol.. anyway...

Im tryin to do the CC in my car as well.. but can't seem to find the right bulbs on superbrightled... i don't see where the 29-T1 number is at... Haven't slept much lately, maybe I just can't read right today lol.. thanks for the help in advance.

Hmm.. great to know.. that I'll never figure that sound out lol.. Thanks for the info.. i might just take the tranny off and replace the clutch parts and get the flywheel done.. hopefully that's the shutter im getting

Ok, I just bought this car a few days ago.. and here's the back story The guy said the #6 wrist pin was making noise, which it is, doesn't bother me i'll fix it later or when it breaks. He said he just had a clutch put in, but did NOT have the flywheel resurfaced.. (why, i have no effin...

Correct, just keeps it together.. no real "upgrade" on it, unless you get a new non rusted one? :P
