Raising the fork pivot point would only reduce the throw. Do you have any pics of the fork's pin and the pivot point? Might be worn. Clutch disk looks like it's in correctly as well. Only other issues I can think of would be an incorrect backstep on the flywheel (too deep), but you didn't...

Going by memory, but when Duane first switched to a RonR FFIM, he made I think about 45hp more.

Something else is wrong then. Either the clutch disk is in backwards, or the hub is assembled wrong. Are you sure you assembled it like this?

The tan tends to age badly as well. But keep in mind the colors used (burgundy, blue, tan) were also used on the most expensive luxury cars of the time. I'm sure decades later we'll think some of the modern interior designs will look bad :)

Keep in mind worm gear clamps aren't recommended for silicone (cheese grater effect)

Nope, factory is much different (much like the EGR cooler gasket) Felpro is not like factory, and it likes to leak.

Interior really isn't that heavy... The heaviest parts are the seats (especially the power driver's seat).

They run a GTE style intake (3000 pipe is plastic) on the cressida. Outside of that, I don't see anything else different (cams are the same, etc.)
