loosing oil out of here. help please

That hole is supposed to be there to allow the oil out in the case of a leak (instead of filling the timing case, destroying the timing belt) Could be front main seal(most likely) or oil pump drive seal. Not likely to be cam seals, but stranger things have happened.

Why do most of the MKIII owners not buy hood struts?

Most OEM hood props are hooks these days so they can't be blown off ;)

Has anyone stroked their MKIII 2JZ swap?

Expensive as hell to do, but after looking at the dyno graphs of stroked 2J's, it's definately nice. More peak power, more torque, faster spool... only bad part is really the price

Going back to factory cat-back... How much power should I expect to lose?

Well, as he's using the N1 (and I'm assuming without the silencer), it would sound like it had the silencer on unless he's really getting on it.

Water proofing a Cold Air Intake

Basicly what the AEM bypass filter does. Forgot to mention the bypass filter has to be in the engine bay, as it will open and suck in through that instead of the main filter if the pressure is high enough. Yes, but as it's a cold air filter, it's farther from the AFM so shouldn't affect the...

    D.I.Y Marlin Crawler bushing install

Keep in mind on W58's there's another bushing around the lower cup that can wear as well. Member on the forums makes a bronze insert for that. With the bronze bushing or R154, the lower shifter cup is very difficult to get in as well. When removing the dash console piece, be careful as it's...

Water proofing a Cold Air Intake

The reason they say not to use the AEM bypass on forced induction is because of the airflow. They can't guarantee it to protect your engine over a certain flow level. Was in a magazine back when it first came out. I'd still run it as well as use an oil soaked filter or one of these...

Surprised nobody has used something like this: http://www.jegs.com/p/Lokar/Lokar-Self-Locking-Hood-Prop/752249/10002/-1 On a stock hood, hell no (too fing heavy). But on a carbon fiber hood...
