    lets talk shift knobs

Probably discontinued because of all the knockoffs that are out there (and they're terrible quality compared to the real thing)

What's The Dumbest Thing A Car Manufacture Has Done?

Boost isn't recommended on them usually (can't think of any car off the top of my head that has a plastic manifold with boost, think even the STR-4's were aluminum?) I know on the LS1's the good nitrous kits included break-out points that were mounted to the manifold so it wasn't a bomb if you...

    Weight reduction

Rear seat backs have a metal frame in them making them much heavier.

Can anyone out there build me a new 7mgte engine harness?

Depending on the year of the car, they're still available new (or were)

What's The Dumbest Thing A Car Manufacture Has Done?

Keep in mind GM uses that style t-stat as well. It's actually a good idea as it seals better and that hose fitting always gets eaten up my corrosion and leaks. We're well past the day and age when plastic engine parts weren't good enough. Hell, a lot of modern motors use plastic intake...

    Anyone gonna get this?

Toyota has said they don't want to hurt the response of the engine, so they'd be going with a supercharger if they did boost it.

Can someone tell me what this valve(?) does? (pic)

For starters, it's not a valve :) That feeds the BOV and the FPR IIRC. Definately do not drive it with it capped off (and find a new mechanic)

    Weight reduction

Yeah, I took my targa out so I could lift the driver's seat out

    Anyone gonna get this?

While I like the car (a lot) I think it's not going to be a contender until they add forced induction to it. They're comparing it to the Miata, but in that price range you have the Mustang, Genesis Coupe... Not a big fan of the Mustang, but the Genesis Coupe would shit all over this car...

What's The Dumbest Thing A Car Manufacture Has Done?

FWD is fine as long as it's an inline engine. My dad's V6 Camry...I want to light it on fire. Getting to the back engine bank is just beyond idiotic (intake is over it, it's under the dash, etc)

What Burgundy is supposed to look like. Haters beware..you might like it.

Yep, and all the vinyl and plastic parts fade at different rates :( Hell, even the grey interiors do it, but as it's grey it looks fine...

can you tell me what part is making this noise ( video provided)

Hmmm, really sounds like that, sorry. Steering rack bushings (I imagine they'd make much the same noise as it's rubber on metal)? Doesn't explain why it would make the noise when you put it in park though...

SPEC st3 clutch not engaging enough

No, C and D keep the hub tight in the bearing so it doesn't spin in the race instead of the bearing (this is bad as the snap ring will then machine off the lip) Really at a loss here. Check everything for flatness and maybe PM one of the vendors that carries that clutch and see if they know...
