I know that but Im wondering if the r154's driveshaft is longer than the w58 because if so then maybe the jackass who had the car before me got the wrong parts..

I recently bought a 5 speed turbo, and found out I can start it without pressing the clutch in. So now Im thinking the previous owner might have done a manual swap. And if he did, Im wondering which one of the two he used.
Is there any visual way to tell?
