What you are describing has happened to a few others that have a DDP. Not all people have this problem with a DDP, but a few do.

60HP at the CRANK maybe, but nowhere near that to the wheels, but a full exhaust does give a big difference to the overall driving experience and funness of the car (I think I made a new word just now...).

Tial is the big dog on the block when it comes to BOV's. I can't think of a BOV that is larger than it (IIRC 50mm).

Actually, it's not there to show off the cam gears, it's there as a point of reference to see where you have the gears set at, then you can take it apart real quick to make fine adjustments. The clear factor is just a cool extra ;).
