Mine is on the road ewery day. I've done 10 000km's over the year. Bone stock apart from short shifter. Still going. BTW i drove it through the whole winter and i can say that it does pretty good in snow.

If you're driving slowly/easy, the turbo gauge will be still. It begins to rise somewhere above 3000rpm. Of course, i'm talking about fully stock setup. Of course this doesn't mean that the gauge is corect and ewerything is working. Do you feel the turbo kicking in? How high does the gauge go...

No, green light is at idle. Also, it's on when you're driving easy. When you push the pedal harder, the orange light comes up. It's to say that you're not driving in the economy range.

If it was your only car, you would have no other choice. You get used to it in a while and it becomes a normal thing.

I agree with northwestsupra. I play around in the snow a lot(10min ago also:) ), but never go full throttle. That's to dangerous.

Well, my moto is "if it was designed to be driven, it will be driven". If you could see the road conditions, weather and other stuff we have here... I doubt that you would consider any other car than a jeep or suv :).

Well, the difference from stock shifter is that the apple sits a bit higher. Also the original apple sits on two bolts and this one sits only on one. That's why it's a bit wobly. A have done a rough sketch for my friend to explain it. It's not much to look at, but you can get the principal idea.
